I've wanted to make a song about good ol' Glim-Glam for a while now, and "make a song with lots of wubbie-bubbies and random 2000's dubstep noises" was on my to-do list. This song is very experimental for me, as I don't come from a background of listening to much of this particular brand of electronic music. Overall, I think it turned out decent, and I hope you guys enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it :)
lyrics
This is our town
so lay the mark down
yeah, this is our town
so drop the mark now
This is our town
so lay the mark down
yeah, this is our town
so drop the mark now
on your marks
well would you let this go? (yeah)
on your marks
yeah, would you let this go (yeah)
on your marks
well would you let this go? (yeah)
on your marks
why won't you let this go? (yeah)
(let's get our cutie marks back!)
(Quiet!!!)
in our town, trials and tribulations
are a non-existent falsification
foundation, the head of the nation
I say your destiny is emulation, and
you threaten our way of life, you try
but I'm sure you'll be one of us, in time
so just sit tight, try and stand your ground?
well, ain't no pony gonna find you now!
you think friendship's gonna be your saving grace?
I will drain you till you can't feel a thing
that "HAPPY SMILE" on your face
just give up the mark and I'll spare the pain
I created harmony, in a world of chaos
you turn against me, you will pay the costs
better not see your smile turn to a frown
I rule you all THIS IS MY TOWN!

Perfect, mellow, techno synthpop for a long, cold expanse of post-midnight cryoseism snowquakes, here in Central Illinois. Pure pleasure for jaded, jejune ears! str8sounds
